The Dukes Theatre at Lancaster will be screening White Christmas starring Bing Crosby at its Journey Cafe on December 16.
The film, which is shown at 1pm, is a public screening so is open to everyone but has been specially programmed for people with dementia and their families.
Some changes will be made to lighting and sound to ensure that a comfortable environment is created.
About 90 minutes before the film begins, tea, coffee, pastries and activities will be available in The Dukes foyer for all ticket holders at the Journey Cafe where there will also be a chance for a chat with members of Age UK Lancashire.
Entry to the Journey Cafe is free. Tickets for the film are £4 including tea, coffee and a pastry. An accompanying carer or family member goes free.
During the interval, there will a Christmas sing-a-long led by Lancaster Male Voice Choir.
