Artists from across Preston got to see their work displayed in the city’s flagship gallery, the Harris Museum.

The annual Harris Open Art Exhibition has opened at the Flag Market institution on January 19 with hundreds of paintings, drawings, sculptures and work in other media by creative people from this area.

Also on display were examples of photography, ceramics and textiles.

Only artists who live in a PR postcode can submit work. The exhibition continues until February 9.
