A festive group from Preston’s SPACE Centre are the latest musical treat to grace the Lancashire Evening Post’s musical advent calendar Sing A Song For Christmas.
An octect (plus leader) of tuneful fundraisers raised their voices to support the community centre in the St George’s shopping centre on Wednesday evening.
A rousing rendition of Baby It’s Cold Inside got the evening off to a swinging start. Even the centre staff got in on the act, with an hilarious walk-on cameo right at the song’s conclusion.
The SPACE Centre is a vital resource for the city, offering a range of services to those with special needs, their families, carers, therapists and teachers.
The CENTRE boasts a unique multi-sensory room, spread over two levels and connected by stairs and a slide. It is an exciting area with specialist lighting and equipment.
Although their priority is to help those with special needs, there is some availability for others such as mother and toddler groups, nurseries and parties.

But we want YOU involved too! Film yourself singing or playing solo, with friends, family, workmates – whatever!
Send it to us and help create a unique musical event. We want festive tunes of all kinds: carols or Chrissie pop, Silent Night or Slade, Bing or Wham.
