Hundreds of Peter Andre fans queued round the block for up to eight hours to meet their idol as he signed copies of his new album.
The singer and reality TV star caused a sensation at Morrisons’ Riversway store in Preston as he turned up for a two-hour meet and greet with fans.
The queue to meet him stretched the entire length of the store, with fans going wild when they caught sight of the singer.
First through the doors were a group of 10 friends including Leah Ryan, 15, of Walton-le- Dale, and her pal Jessica Collins, also 15.
Leah said: “It was fantastic to meet him. We’ve been here since 8am but it has been worth it.”
Leah’s mum Emma, her friend Samatha Johnston and others, said the time passed quickly as they chatted and made quick trips to McDonalds as they waited for the 4pm signing.
Peter’s new album Big Night is out now.
Peter said: “The turnout here is amazing. It’s such a pleasure to be here and Morrisons have really looked after us.”
Earlier in the day, Peter had been at a similar event in Bradford. He said he was really proud of his new album.
“It’s a bit of jazz, blues, rock and roll – it’s very different from what I have done before,” he added.
