Catch the modern English folk duo Turin Brakes as they play 53 Degrees this Saturday night.
Since starting out in 1999, the band have sold around a million records internationally.
Now, following on from the release of the album Outbursts and last autumn’s sell out Optimist LP anniversary tour, Turin Brakes are embarking on a few special one-off shows and festival appearances in the run up to recording their new album.
The duo of Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, along with long time band members Rob Allum on drums, and Eddie Myer on bass will be playing a full set of songs spanning their 10 year career. They’ve also promised one or two new offerings will be revealed too.
There will be support from five-piece Crewe based rock band Son Of Shinobi whose musical style has been likened to Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Feeder and Incubus.
The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £17 in advance or £19 on the door, available from 01772 895478, or log on www.53degrees.net for more information.
