Veteran rocker Paul Carack returns to Preston Guild Hall next Friday night, this time for a show in the Charter Theatre.
Carrack is the former frontman of Mike and The Mechanics and an ex-member of Squeeze. He is the voice behind worldwide hits such as Ace’s How Long, Squeeze’s Tempted and the Mechanics timeless classic, The Living Years. He brings his live solo show to the Charter Theatre where he is a longtime favourite and all his many hits from his hugely varied career are expected to be on the setlist for the night.
Although Carrack’s name is not instantly recognisable, his voice is, having featured on some of the great hits of the 20th century. The Daily Mail said of him: “His soulful gem of a voice is one of pop’s best kept secrets. It’s about time that changed.”
Support on the night comes from Good Feeling.
Tickets for the show are on sale now priced at £37.50 and £27.50 from the Guild Hall box office on 0845 344 2012 or online at www.prestonguildhall.com
