Marriage will make you happy, and money will not do any harm, but those seeking joy in life are probably best off not having children, according to an academic.
Harvard Psychology professor Daniel Gilbert said scientific and economic research showed only marriage proved to be a constant source of joy.

But children only caused maximum happiness when they were still being expected and when they left home.
