A packed running of the bulls in Pamplona has left one person gored and two slightly injured, the government of Spain's northern Navarra region said today.
Six massive fighting bulls slipped on morning dew-dampened cobblestones and tossed people aside along tightly packed, narrow streets on the half-mile run through the streets of the city to the bull ring.

The Navarra government said one person was in hospital with a gored buttock, one runner had a broken nose and another had an injured ear.

The run was quick, lasting less than three minutes, despite an unusually large weekend crowd when serious bull running aficionados were joined by revellers.
