Landlord Mark Gibirdi thought he was seeing things - and it was nothing to do with his ales!
The pub boss was mesmerised by lights he saw flickering in the sky over Preston city centre.
Mark, 45, says he saw the strange object hovering in the night sky.
Father-of-three Mark, the landlord of the Last Orders, in Adelphi Street, Plungington, said: "I was stood at the back of the pub and I saw something which looked like a star, but a bit bigger, in the distance over the town centre.
"Suddenly, it started moving very slowly, it didn't look like a plane.
"It was just the way it was moving very slowly and the rest of the stars were not. I've got no idea what it was, I thought I was imagining it."
He may not have been seeing stars, as Lancashire is ranked third in Britain by the MoD for the number of reports of UFOs.
More than 11,000 UFOs have been sighted in the UK over the last 30 years and eagle-eyed spotters in Preston have been caught up in the phenomenon.
Earlier this month, the Evening Post told how 32-years-old John Gibirdi - who is no relation to landlord Mark - was driving along Boys Lane in Fulwood with his eight-year-old daughter, Claudia, when they spotted a UFO shaped like an iron.
Since then, readers from across Preston have been in touch to tell their own tales of unexplained sightings.
Celia Williams, 79, of Marina Drive, Fulwood, claims she saw orange lights moving across the sky at around 11.30pm on Saturday, June 7.
She said: "I went to open the window and saw this orange light, more of less the size of an orange, floating across the sky coming from roughly north and going towards the barracks.
"Then another one appeared and then a third one. I saw nine in all but I never saw more than three at one time. They all disappeared at the same place."
Janet Walkey, of the Lancashire Anomalous Phenomena Investigation Society, said: "This year we've had an increase in UFO sightings across Lancashire. Some have been explained but some do remain a mystery."
