A man has made it all the way to Greece in a van powered only by vegetable oil.
Rob Taylor from Lancaster, who works as an engineering apprentice at BAE Samlesbury, completed the Grease to Greece Bangers (and Mash) Challenge on Wednesday with his friend 19-year-old Nick Fearn, from Southport.

Rob, who left London in his Ford Transit van on August 16, said: "We made it, we're in Athens, it was mental."

The pair, who took part to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, had to persuade restaurant owners to give them cooking oil to power the van.
