North Korea claims to have developed a new kind of noodle which makes people feel full longer than ordinary food.
The noodle, made with a mixture of beans and corn, does not make people "feel a sense of hunger that generally comes soon after eating (ordinary) noodle", according to a state newspaper.

It said the new noodle would be available soon across North Korea. The country faces widespread hunger and has relied on foreign aid to feed its 23 million people since the mid-1990s.
