Hundreds take part in bog snorkelling

A record number of people, including an enthusiast from Penwortham, donned snorkels and flippers to take part in this year's World Bog Snorkelling Championships.
Many of the 170 participants, who included 'Sheikh' Derek Snaith, 51, from Penwortham, even wore fancy dress to cover 120 yards through a peat bog in Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, Mid Wales.
