Cow gets into a spin

Curiosity nearly killed the cow after it had to be freed by the RSPCA after getting her head stuck in a fly-tipped washing machine drum.
The lucky animal escaped injury during her ordeal - but the charity warned that fly-tipping can cause animals harm.

The RSPCA was called to rescue the heifer from a field at Higher Fraddon, St Columb, Cornwall.

Thank you for showing the dangers of rubbish and litter to animals. Wild life is also in danger from litter such as plastic bags. Post men are often irresponsible in dropping their elastic bands which can be a danger to pets.

Post #1 i concur with you!I can see Why they took this photo as to highlight this huge problem with fly tipping. That poor beast must have been in agony. Also those red elastic bands are discarded everywhere and this needs taking up with the Royal mail.A shocking state of the rubbish mountain building up in our green and pleasant land! Shameful.
