Romanian authorities have given hunters permission to shoot the growing number of bears that venture into mountain towns.
The animals have recently started to descend into civilisation in search of food.

Hunting associations have been authorised to shoot bears appearing in areas popular with tourists in Brasov and the Prahova valley.
