Watch footage from the lifeboat's rescue as the ferry got into trouble
Work has begun to dismantle a ferry beached in a storm in Lancashire three months ago.
Hopes of refloating the 6,000 ton 'Riverdance' were dashed last month and the salvage team say it will take them six weeks to remove her from the seafront.
A coastguard spokesman said: "She has become something of a tourist attraction since she was beached but even that is wearing off now."
The ferry was carrying 50 trucks and trailers from Warrenpoint in Northern Ireland to Heysham in Lancashire when it ran into difficulty.
All the passengers and crew were evacuated.
