Two men had to be cut free from their car by firefighters after a crash on the M6 in Lancashire.
The passenger, in the Hyundai Sorento, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital suffering a chest and arm injury.

The driver was not injured in the accident, which happened at 7.43pm on Friday between junction 30 at Bamber Bridge and 29 at Leyland on the southbound carriageway.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "The vehicle had come off the carriageway and into the trees on the embankment.
"I believe it was the only car involved although some other motorists may have stopped on the hard shoulder to help out."

One lane of the motorway was closed and reopened at 10pm.
