A pedestrian has died in hospital five days after being hit by a bus as he crossed a busy Lancashire road.
Peter Gaskell, 31, was crossing Station Road in Bamber Bridge on Friday when he collided with the Stagecoach bus.
He suffered serious life-threatening injuries and spent five days fighting for his life in the intensive care unit of the Royal Preston Hospital.
But Mr Gaskell, of Alma Row in Hoghton, died at 4am on Wednesday morning.
