Car flip motorist dies in hospital

A motorist injured when his car overturned in Lancashire has died.
The 52-year-old man was driving a Ford Mondeo on the B6254 at Arkholme, near Carnforth, when the accident happened, at 1.45am on Saturday.

He was taken by ambulance to Royal Lancaster Infirmary with chest and head injuries but died from his injuries at 7.15pm on Saturday.

Police have not yet released his name but he is thought to be from the local area.

No other vehicles were thought to have been involved in the crash.
