Saturday, March 8 promises an explosive night of quality boxing at The Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard.
Chorley boxer Terry McDermott – fresh from his defeat of Preston's Suz
Member – is defending his EBF Northern title against Inny Walibhai, also from Preston, who stepped up after Member's withdrawal.

McDermott, who has been training with Ray Jennings, father of WBU welterweight titleholder Michael Jennings, said: "Without a shadow of a doubt I'm going to win. My opponent has changed, but I feel Inny is a better boxer. I'll rise to the occasion and I'll finish it within three rounds."

Inny responded: "It will be an entertaining fight, and there will be an absolutely phenomenal atmosphere to see two guys full of hunger and desire, who love their sport. I will go into the ring and give six rounds. And I'm grabbing this opportunity with both hands."

Tommy Cush, also of Preston, will defend his EBF British title against Sheffield's Dave England on the same bill, one that also includes Steve Berch, Chorley's Stuart Maddox, Eric 'The Viking' Martin, Barry Guy, 'El Nino' Lee, Preston's Wolverine and many more top North West boxers.
