Rob Dodd won the Preston and District Snooker League Individual Competition.
Brownedge ace Dodd beat Leigh Robinson of Greenlands in the final at the Fulwood Club.
Victory brought Dodd £100 in prize money.
Dodd reached the final by seeing off Jason Bradley (Elite) in the semi-final, while Robinson was a last-four victor over Brian Mangan (St Bernard’s).
Meanwhile, champions Elite A beat hosts St Bernards Blue 6-1 to increase their lead at the top of the First Division.
Chris Norbury was their best player and he put together breaks of 35 and 29 to beat Dave Baldwin 100-35.
Spencer Kirby took the point for the Catholic club. He beat Howard Brown 72-31.
Second-placed St Bernard’s Red beat hosts Empire Services A 5-2 and are two points adrift of Elite.
Ben Messent was their best player and his 97-34 win over Liam Foley included breaks of 39 and 30.
James Peoples and Fran Gregory took the points for the Hartington Road club.
Second Division pace-makers Elite C suffered their second successive defeat, beaten 5-2 by Lostock Cons with Lee Martin and Neil Greenwood their only winners.
Lea A failed to take advantage going down 6-1 to visitors Broughton A to remain four points behind Elite C.
Graham Banks who beat Lee Thomas 92-36 was prominent for the visitors and Mark McDonough prevented the whitewash. He beat Danny Kay 90-16.
Wilbraham beat fourth placed Brownedge Red 4-3 in a match that provided a superb frame. Wilbraham’s Jason Smith made breaks of 43 and 41 in his 92-39 victory over Keith Farrington who’s score was a break of 39.
Third Division leaders St Josephs went down 4-3 at Deepdale
St George’s whitewashed visitors New Meadow Street Labour Club to establish an 11-point cushion at the top of Division Four.
