Preston North End goalkeeper Iain Turner is set to join Scottish Premier League club Dunfermline on loan for the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old travelled up to Scotland on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the move.
Turner started the season as first-choice keeper at Deepdale, scoring with a goalkick in the 2-0 home win over Notts County in August.
But he’s not played in the team since the end of October having fractured his toe in training.
And while Turner was on the sidelines, North End signed Thorsten Stuckmann who has been No.1 ever since.
Dunfermline have moved for Turner after regular shot-stopper Paul Gallacher was ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
Turner initially joined PNE on loan from Everton in February last year, before signing on a Bosman in the summer when his contract with the Toffees ran out.
