Leyland and Chorley Hockey Club ladies put in another fine display as they scored five goals without reply against Lancaster.
They made a quick start, forcing three short corners in the opening seven minutes.
All were unconverted but minutes later, Alison Rigby drove forward from the back line and found Penny Robb, who played through Nicola Wallbank and she comfortably slotted past the goalkeeper to give L&C the lead.
Leyland and Chorley continued to create chances but they struggled to convert them as Lancaster put plenty of bodies behind the ball.
Marie Meagher, Paula Thornton and Eluned Smith continued to dominate the ball and when Becca Halsall and Rigby managed to make a break weaving around Lancaster, the latter found Wallbank who passed to Sarah King to score an easy tap-in.
Lancaster hit back and had efforts of their own but goalkeeper Alison Clewlow stopped everything in her tracks.
Raelene Strickland made it 3-0 early in the second period and then Smith scored her first goal for the club by converting a penalty corner.
Lancaster had a player sin-binned for not stopping the ball on the line for a free-hit and then getting involved in confronting the umpires.
Pressure mounted in the final stages of the game and Wallbank rounded off the scoring after a neat pass from Becca Halsall.
