Preston North End boss Simon Grayson blasted his players for their wayward shooting in tonight’s 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient.
PNE had 22 shots in the match, scored two but 17 of those 22 efforts failed to hit the target.
Chris Humphrey, Josh Brownhill, Scott Wiseman, Kyel Reid and Paul Gallagher were guilty of firing the ball into the stands rather than testing Orient shot-stopper Gary Woods.
Grayson said: “We didn’t earn the right to go and win that game tonight.
“I don’t want to paper over cracks, there were not enough players playing to their best ability.
“Even when we got it we didn’t make the right decisions going forward.
“It is very frustrating. Anyone who watched that match would not think we do any shooting sessions.
“How we missed the target - and so embarrassingly missed the target - was there for everyone to see.
“But we do shooting practice everyday.”
