The Preston Schools’ cup finals were held at Deepdale over three days.
Before each game there was a poignant moment as the teams held a minute’s applause in memory of Dick Clegg, who passed away in March.
Mr Clegg had organised the finals for a number of years and was secretary of the Preston Schools’ FA.
The finals were the last matches played on the Deepdale turf before its summer renovation, and there were good crowds for them all.
