The smoking/vaping area will be available at half-time and located where the Sir Tom Finney Stand and Alan Kelly Town End meet - it is open to fans who use those two stands.

North End have reached an agreement with Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire County Council to trial the outside area for the Forest game.

If successful, it will be extended until the end of the season and reviewed in the summer.

The inside of the stadium, concourses and toilets remain smoke-free and those caught smoking or using vaping devices there will be asked to leave.

Supporters from the Sir Tom Finney Stand and Alan Kelly Town End can access the smoking area from exit gates WX03, SX07 and SX08 (disabled entrance) and will have to show their tickets to get back into their respective stands.

The area will be stewarded and available from five minutes before half-time to five minutes into the second half, with ash trays provided.

Alcohol cannot be taken into the outside smoking area as PNE are only licensed for it to be consumed within the concourse areas.
