Preston North End have completed the signing of striker Simon Makienok on a season-long loan.
The 6ft 7in frontman joins from Italian club Palermo after spending last season on loan at Charlton Athletic, who were relegated from the Championship.
North End had been heavily linked with the Danish striker in recent weeks and finally sealed the deal today.
Makienok – who began his career at Danish side Koge before being snapped up by Brondby – played 37 games for the Addicks, scoring five times in a struggling side.
The 25-year-old has made six appearances for Denmark.
