Preston North End have swooped for goalkeeper Jamie Jones from Leyton Orient on a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old will move to Deepdale on July 1 after his current deal at Brisbane Road ends.
Jones was an integral member of Russell Slade’s Orient side last season which finished third – two places ahead of PNE – in League One.
He made 37 appearances as Orient narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship – losing after a penalty shoot-out to Rotherham in the play-off final.
Born in Kirkby, in Merseyside, Jones began his career at Premier League outfit Everton but never made a senior appearance at Goodison Park.
He moved to Orient in 2008 and had made more than 150 appearances during his six-year stay.
