Preston North End have released Iain Hume and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff at the end of their Deepdale contracts.
The pair finished the season by playing in the League Two play-off final having been loaned out by PNE - Hume to Fleetwood and Cansdell-Sherriff to Burton Albion.
Canada international Hume joined North End from Barnsley in September 2010, and went on to score 24 goals in 80 games.
He spent the majority of the 2012/13 season on loan with Doncaster, helping them to the League One title.
After returning to Deepdale last summer, Hume made 20 appearances for PNE before joining Fleetwood on loan in March.
Cansdell-Sherriff was a Bosman signing from Shrewsbury in July 2012, and pulled on a Preston shirt 22 times.
The Australian defender spent part of the 2012-13 campaign on loan at Rochdale, and then joined Burton on loan last September.
On Wednesday, Cansdell-Sherriff signed a two-year permanent deal to stay at Burton.
Eight players have now been released by North End since the end of the season, Hume and Cansdell-Sherriff joining Nicky Wroe, John Mousinho, Chris Beardsley, Graham Cummins, Ryan Croasdale and Alex Nichsolson on the departure list.
