Preston North End goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has missed out on a place in the Wales squad for Euro 2016.
Maxwell had only been in with an outside chance of making the 23-man squad.
But his hopes were raised when he got called up for a 30-man training squad in the Algarve last week as cover for Liverpool's Danny Ward who was recovering from a knee injury.
Wales boss Chris Coleman named his final squad on Tuesday afternoon, with Ward, Wayne Hennessey and Owain Fon Williams the three keepers who will be going to France.
Maxwell will officially become a North End player on July 1 when his contract at Fleetwood Town runs out.
He has signed a three-year contract at Deepdale and moves on a Bosman.
