Preston North End defender Ben Davies has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
The 18-year-old’s new deal will keep him at Deepdale until at least the summer of 2016 and includes an option for a further 12 months.
The left-back, who can also play at centre half, made his first team debut for North End in January 2013 against Coventry City at Deepdale.
Davies spent last season on loan at League Two side York City, where he made over 45 appearances as the Minstermen made the play-offs.
Davies said: “I’m delighted to have extended my stay at Preston North End.
“It’s a great club and I cannot wait to get back now for pre-season training.”
