Preston North End have a new look for the new season…and a new sponsor.
The Deepdale outfit have signed a two-year deal with Virgin Trains, that will see the travel operator become the club’s official shirt sponsor and travel partner.
Lilywhites fans will benefit from the deal by getting discounted travel on the Virgin Trains network.
North End manager Simon Grayson said: “The new shirt looks fantastic and to have such a well-known and successful brand on the kit shirt reinforces the history and tradition of our great club in attracting such interest.”
The new collared Nike home shirt, featuring the Virgin Trains logo and traditional navy shorts also has a return to the popular hooped sock.
The new strip was revealed at the team’s official photocall at Deepdale on Tuesday and will be worn for the first time against Notts County on the opening day of the League One season on Saturday.
