Joe Garner, hat-trick hero from the bench against Ipswich in midweek, was among the half dozen to return to the starting XI.
Also coming in the side were Bailey Wright, David Buchanan, Lee Holmes, John Welsh and Scott Wiseman.
Wiseman made his full PNE debut having been a second-half substitute at Wolves last Saturday.
Coventry named Leon Clarke in their starting line-up, the striker having put in a transfer request earlier in the week.
Former PNE midfielder Adam Barton, sold to Coventry in August 2012, was named among the Sky Blues’ substitutes.
