Meet the boss: Former Burnley manager Steve Cotterill is in charge of Bristol City.

He was appointed as Robins boss on December 3, 2013, the West Country club having made great strides under his management. Cotterill guided them to safety last season after taking over with them in relegation trouble. This season he has led City on a promotion charge, his side having led the table for much of the season. He managed Burnley for three years and has also been in charge at Sligo, Cheltenham, Stoke, Notts County, Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest.

Meet the ref: Premier League referee Robert Madley is in charge of PNE’s game with Bristol City. Madley, whose brother Andy refereed Preston’s recent draw at Fleetwood, has officiated nine top-flight games this season. His last PNE game was the 4-4 draw with Coventry in August 2013.
