AFC Fylde will go head to head with Chorley in the final of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy at Bolton Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium.
The Coasters defeated Bamber Bridge 2-0 in the semi-final at the County Ground, Leyland, last night.
A goal from Matthew Blinkhorn after 30 minutes put Fylde in the ascendency.
Despite battling hard throughout the 90 minutes, Brig – who are a division below Fylde in the football pyramid – were unable to find the back of the net.
The match was sewn-up in the final minute when Joseph Booth scored from the penalty spot.
Fylde, who are third in the NPL Premier Division, take on the Magpies in the final on Monday, March 17.
