Bamber Bridge Football Club have bolstered their front line with the addition of Blackburn Rovers striker Sam Joel.
The 18-year-old has joined Neil Crowe’s men on a one-month loan deal.
Joel has been with Rovers since the age of 10 and last season scored 18 goals in 42 appearances for the Under-18s and 21s.
Speaking about the move, Brig boss Crowe said: “I want to two strikers up front and Sam gives us that option.
“He can play anywhere across the front three and I’m looking forward to seeing him play.
Assistant manager Neil Reynolds added: “Sam looked very good when he trained with us, he can use both feet and he looks a great addition.
“The lads were very impressed with him at training and it’s like he fitted straight in.”
Joel will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s trip to New Mills.
