The pressure is on Bamber Bridge this evening as they aim to maintain their play-off position in the NPL First Division North table.

Neil Crowe’s men are sitting nicely in fourth spot after a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Prescot Cables on Saturday.

However, they welcome lowly Brighouse to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium tonight knowing that anything other than victory could see them drop out of the play-off places altogether.

Scarborough Athletic and Spennymoor Town – the two teams directly below Brig in the table – are also in action tonight, albeit with tough away fixtures at AFC Farsley and Mossley respectively.

Just two points separate all three teams and Brig know they cannot afford any slip-up against their opponents tonight.

Meanwhile, in the Conference North, AFC Fylde can go back to the top of the table tonight.

The Coasters face Worcester City away from home knowing that victory will see them overtake Barrow at the summit on goal difference.
