Liverpool won't give up on Spurs striker
Liverpool are ready to mount a summer-long pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Robbie Keane, according to reports.
Spurs have tried to ward-off Rafa Benitez's interest by valuing the Republic of Ireland striker at 20m.
But the Daily Mirror newspaper claims that the Reds boss is willing to offer Peter Crouch as a makeweight in any deal plus 5m cash.
It is also reported that Keane has told friends he'd love to join his boyhood club.
Elsewhere, England squad man Tom Huddlestone has been signed up on a new five-year contract, while Italian youth goalkeeper Mirko Ranieri has arrived from Perugia to join the Spurs academy.
Ramos continues to maintain he has no interest in offloading any of his first-team squad, but the likes of Dimitar Berbatov and one-time record signing Darren Bent are said to be high on the wanted list of other Premier League clubs.
