THE GUARDIAN: The All England Club's insistence that BBC television would not hold sway over any decision to close the new multi-million-pound roof was placed under immediate doubt yesterday when, on a perfect summer's evening, it remained solidly shut from the beginning of Andy Murray's fourth-round match against Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland, becoming the first full match to be played indoors at Wimbledon.
