Morecambe claimed another three points following five crazy first half minutes.
The Shrimps continued their march up the League Two table with a valuable win against the struggling North London guests.
The match was decided shortly after the half hour mark when David Artell's headed goal sent the Christie Park crowd into raptures. However that joy was short lived when Barnet frontman John O'Flynn levelled the scores within 60 seconds.
Just as the crowd had caught their breath then Wayne Curtis fired home what proved to be the winner after 38 minutes.
After the break Sammy McIlroy's men kept up the pressure but despite several attempts on goal were unable to extend their margin of victory.
