Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has brought Stewart Drummond back to Christie Park.
The 32-year-old midfielder rejoined the Shrimps from Shrewsbury Town today and goes into the squad for Saturday's away game at Macclesfield.
Drummond started his career with Morecambe, making around 200 first-team appearances during a decade at the club, before joining Chester City in 2004.
He moved to Shrewsbury in May 2006 and has been captaining the Shropshire side, but with his contract up at the end of this season, they decided to accept the offer from the Shrimps.
