DAILY TELEGRAPH: England footballers usually keep accountants busy and San Marino’s bookkeeper of a goalkeeper, Aldo Simoncini, was duly troubled by Wayne Rooney twice, Danny Welbeck twice and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last night. Also, Stuart Pearce is on course to etch his name into the England history books after taking a substantial step towards reaching his fourth successive European Under-21 Championship.
