At Cuerden Valley, Red Rose trio Stuart Cann, Karl Hodgson and Neil McDonald crossed the finish line hand in hand joint first as a show of support for Stoke Gifford Parkrun.

Steve Bladon travelled home to the Fenlands to compete in the inaugural Boston Half Marathon.

With the Darwen Half still fresh in his mind and legs, he was cheered on by friends 
and family and finished 
high up in 11th place 
in a time of one hour, 36 minutes.

Gina Biggs was spotted a long way from home completing yet another marathon this time in Brighton.

It was a lovely day for a run by the River Lune for Lancaster Three Bridges 
10K.

A small contingent of RRRRs performed admirably, Carla Davies was second lady, Jill Jefferson third lady, and Carol Douglass and Evelyn Elkington won their Vet categories.

Alex Venables was sub-40 in 39.26.

Personal best performances came from Venables and Davies.

Karl Hodgson continues to improve with a time of 1.19.33 at the Valiants’ 
Half Marathon, to be 
placed third, and Alison Parkinson finished as 
first F45 in a great time of 1.50.34.

Peter O’Grady took on the Great Edinburgh 10-mile race with no pre-race expectations but came away with an excellent result of one hour, 21 minutes.

A great day out was had at the Lakeland trails for the 17K Challenge.
