Chris Brown bagged a hat-trick and teenager Danny Mayor struck twice as Preston North End enjoyed an Alpine stroll at the end of their Austrian training camp.
As well as the goals for Brown and Leyland lad Mayor, Jon Parkin also grabbed two while Neil Mellor, Barry Nicholson, Neal Trotman and Karl Hawley all got their names on the scoresheet against local part timers Hallein.
PNE boss Alan Irvine played almost two completely different sides in the match, with only Mayor and Liam Chilvers completing a full 90 minutes.
North End opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Neil Mellor poked home a Calum Davidson cross.
Then Chris Brown tapped home a ball from 18-year-old Mayor following his energetic surge down the wing to make it two.
After a powerful strike for his second Brown grabbed his hat-trick just before the break after some more good work from Mayor had set him clear.
Mayor opened his account after 52 minutes and grabbed another 11 minutes later.
After Nicholson got his name on the score sheet on 65 minutes, Parkin then made in eight with 16 minutes late after he found himself on the end of a ball from Eddie Nolan.
Headers from both Trotman, in the 77th minute, and Hawley eight minutes later took the scoreline to 10.
Several established names did not feature in the wram up match. As previosuly reported by lep.co.uk Youl Mawene was was suffering from a hamstring strain earlier in the week while Stephen Elliot had an ankle injury.
North End now return to Lancashire for pre-season training before they face stiffer tests against the likes of Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and Hibernian in friendly fixtures.
