Preston North End are to cut ticket prices by 2.5% from Monday to
reflect the reduction in VAT announced this week.
The cut will also apply to half-season tickets and all replica kit in the club shop.

Chairman Derek Shaw said: "We understand that times are particularly hard in the current financial climate and that the festive period also puts a serious strain on the purse strings.

"We will do anything we can to help relieve the financial burden and make it easier for PNE fans to support their club."

Does that mean I get a rebate on by season ticket for the remainder of the season?

Tell you what Derek just send me the Blackpool dvd and we'll call it quits!

I'd be happy for PNE to keep the prices as they are. PNE do their best whenever they can, so they deserve the extra revenue from the temporary VAT cut.

I pay £22 in the Invicibles, that's a bargain compared to what Bleakpooh charge their fans, and let's see what Oyston does over Gloomfield way.

Post 7- just becuse the VAT rate is reduced does not mean PNE have to reflect the reduction by amending ticket prices....they could have kept the 2.5% themselves. It a decent gesture in tough times for fans.

MOR spot on mate. Times and cash are tough on North End at the moment and they need all the support they can get. Derek, you can keep the 2.5% on my season ticket and put that to good use for the club!

Lets see some of these other tight wads get down and support the one and only super whites!
