We bring you the latest from Bamber Bridge and Chorley as Preston North End continue their pre-season preparations.
Boss Alan Irvine has split his squad in two for their first friendlies on English soil of the new season.

The matches will kick-off simultaneously at Irongate and Victory Park (7pm) and we'll be at both games to bring you live coverage as it happens.

Manager Irvine will be in charge of the team at Chorley where new signing Barry Nicholson will be amongst the players on show. Neil Mellor, who scored a hat-trick in North End's first pre-season game in Austria at the weekend will also face the Magpies partnering Brett Ormerod.

Assistant Rob Kelly will take the team against Brig with skipper Paul McKenna partnering Richard Chaplow in the centre of midfield.

Squad for Chorley: Chris Neal, Murphy, Anyinash, Jones, Mawene, Davidson, Sedgwick, Nicholson, Jarrett, Lewis Neal, Ormerod, Mellor, Appiah, Stott, Adam Barton.

Squad for Bamber Bridge: Lonergan, Hart, Smyth, Collins, St Ledger, Hill, Whaley, Chaplow, McKenna, Carter, Brown, Hawley, Turner, Fairhurst, Cudworth, Mayor.

Remind me, how did your eleven donkeys fair against lowly opposition? Wasn't it a last gasp equaliser against an unheard of Latvian team ;o)
