Alan Irvine insists he will treat Sunday's Preston North End dead rubber at Bristol City with the utmost respect.
With Preston safe from relegation and the Robins having already confirmed their play-off place, there's little riding on the Ashton Gate clash.
But with a near capacity crowd expected through the turnstiles, including a sizeable following from Lancashire, it's business as usual for North End boss Irvine.
He wants his players to finish a disappointing season on a high note, the team having fought a relegation battle until a fortnight ago.
Irvine told the Evening Post: "We've got a lot of fans travelling down to Bristol who deserve a good performance from us.
"We are professionals and will approach the game in a professional manner even though there isn't much to play for.
"The preparation will be the same as for any other game – we're flying down tomorrow as we would for any long distance trip.
"It would have been easy to decide to save money and go on the coach, but we're doing it the proper way.
"We're flying in the morning, training when we get there and then we've got the game on Sunday afternoon.
"I'm looking forward to the game, although I must admit I'm looking forward more to July 1, when the players come back for pre-season training.
"That will be the time when I can really start to get my ideas across, work on the things which so far I haven't been able to because of the position we've been in.
"But first we've got Bristol City to look forward to and they've done very well to get into the play-offs in their first season back in this division.
"They've got there on merit and it's just a shame for them that they've fallen away towards the end – they'd had an outstanding season.
"It has become a bit more difficult for them lately. Now they've got to concentrate on making themselves right for what they hope will be three play-off games."
Irvine will add player of the year Sean St Ledger to the squad which drew against Ipswich last week, the centre-back having recovered from a hamstring strain.
