First look at PNE's new home kit

Striker Neil Mellor models Preston North End's new – and distinctly retro – look for next season.
The strip is again supplied by Diadora, the Italian sportswear manufacturer, who are celebrating their 60th anniversary.

The shirt is considerably lighter than last season's for ease of movement and uses mesh ventilation panels to help regulate body temperature.

And one lucky North End fan can get their hands on the new kit a month before it goes on sale.

Simply text PNEKIT to 88442 to be in with a chance of winning. The closing date for entries is noon on Tuesday, May 13. Texts cost £1 plus your standard network rate.

The club are taking pre-orders on the kit from today with all pre-ordered kits delivered or available to collect on Saturday, June 7.

The kit will be on general sale from Saturday, June 14.

the kit would be even more retro and better with a couple more blue stipes in the socks, as much blue as white!

totally agree with Graham's post. Full retro would be better, but still, back to hooped socks is fantastic, with a strong white shirt and strong blue shorts.

Very PNE ! happy, and for the first time, I will be buying the shirt at full price rather than waiting for the £10 offer !

i think they are better in a kit that stands out more ie red or the yellow one as the white is hard enouth on the eye to see and thin must reflect on the players view in respect of seeing each other on the putch were as the other ones stands out better.

yeah thats the only thing that annoys me, the enterprise bit wears away and doesnt look nice, better if it was stiched on like the badge. but loving the shirt cant wait to buy one. This season has just finished but defo cant wait for the next one to begin.

glad with the all white shirt, but what on earth is the ghastly mesh pattern on the bottom of the shorts? who commissions this rubbish? change for changes sake. sometimes less is more!.......

Few more hoops needed on the socks right down to the ankle and a collar a la BAXI 2001 Shirt also and that kit will be reem.
