Morecambe moved up one place to 10th in League two after a 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Town, who are managed by former Preston North End boss Paul Simpson.
Carl Baker gave Sammy McIlroy's side a 32nd-minute lead in front of a crowd of 1,634 at Christie Park.

But the visitors earned themselves a point with an equaliser 20 minutes from time through Marc Pugh.

The draw leaves Simpson, who took charge at Shrewsbury last month after being sacked by Preston in November, still looking for his first win following a 4-1 defeat at Chesterfield.
