Former England and Wolves striker Steve Bull will see his Stafford Rangers side pit their wits against early Blue Square North leaders Southport tomorrow.
And that encounter is just the first of two tricky away fixtures for Liam Watson's in-form Sandgrounders, who tackle Leicestershire outfit Hinckley United on Monday night.
Port dropped their first points this term on Bank Holiday Monday in a 1-1 draw in front of a bumper 1,304 attendance.
But Watson's side are still two points clear after 13 points from their opening five matches, and the club will want to retain their lead tomorrow.
Haig Avenue chief executive Haydn Preece said: "Everyone felt Fleetwood deserved their point on Monday. They were well organised, and will be a force in the Blue Square North,
"Liam Watson felt we were a little lethargic in the warm-up and during the match, and two games in three days takes its toll.
"But the gate was excellent and Liam's main concern was that we didn't put on that good a show for them."
Highly-rated Alan Moogan could add bite to Port's central midfield tomorrow after a five-match suspension for three sendings-off last season, and Preece remains confident of the club's promotion campaign. He added: "Home or away, Liam and his squad are confident. He had a good squad to select from, and is looking forward to the challenge this season.
"It's good to have Liam back at the club. He knows this league inside out, and up to now things have worked out well."
Meanwhile, Watson's former charges at Blue Square North rivals Burscough, now managed by Joey Dunn, will look to get back to winning ways when they host second-from-bottom Solihull Moors at Victoria Park.
Burscough slipped to a 4-1 loss at Workington on Bank Holiday Monday, two days after a 0-0 home draw with Farsley Celtic.
