Bamber Bridge and Warrington fought out an entertaining draw last night, but the Irongate hosts will feel aggrieved at failing to hold a two-goal lead.
In an end-to-end start, Brig booted clear a Phil Hadland low delivery and broke upfield, with Neil Zarac's cross cleared for a corner, while a long punt upfield ended with a Brig air kick before Calvin Davies shot over.
Neil Spencer's cross was to
o high for Zarac, while Town's Hadland saw his cross headed over by Carl Rendell.
Brig's Adam Tong's long throw was flicked on by Zarac only for Town to clear, but Brig went ahead on 18 minutes.
Danny Mahoney's free-kick was dropped by Richard Mottram at Glenn Steel's feet, and he sidefooted to TONG, who blasted into the roof of the net from close range.
Mottram redeemed himself as Alex Porter sped down the right and crossed for Mike Mason, Mottram grabbing his header at full stretch.
A cross from Allan Fleming was chested down by Ryan-Zico Black to Mahoney, but Jamie Nay's finish was stopped.
Spencer fed Black but his high cross was mis-hit by Spencer and Mottram cleared.
Brig netted a second on 29 minutes, Mason's corner met by a high leap from ZARAC, who was clattered as his header hit the net.
After treatment, the striker resumed, with excellent control by Black, but his quick ball led to Zarac's chance going begging.
Town won a corner, with James Thomas' 34th-minute set-piece headed in by Matty FARRELL at the far post.
Black caused a scramble in the Town box before Spencer blazed over, another chance going begging as Nay's floated ball led to a poor Porter shot.
After the break, Zarac headed a Mason cross over while Mahoney won two tackles before slotting through for Mason, but Mottram pounced.
Mahoney released Mason but Mottram beat out his cross and Black's corner was flicked wide by Steel.
Brig's third goal came on 57 minutes, Mahoney's free-kick chested down by ZARAC, who turned and buried a low shot.
Yet, Town halved the deficit on 63 minutes as THOMAS' 25-yarder flew past Andy Banks.
Another chance was wasted as Nay's 35-yarder went wide, while Mahoney and Spencer released Porter but his low ball was stopped by Mottram.
And on 79 minutes Brian Holmes crossed low for fellow sub Billy WEBB's equaliser.
